Terms of Service.
Effective 26 July 2026 · AFSA FZE · United Arab Emirates
These terms form the contract between you and AFSA FZE whenever you use this platform or buy through it. They are written to be readable, but they are binding — please read section 09 on liability and section 11 on governing law in particular.
01. Agreeing to These Terms
By creating an account, placing an order or otherwise using afsa.ae, you accept these terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
These terms are supplemented by our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Refunds, Returns & Cancellations and Delivery & Fulfilment policies, which form part of this agreement.
02. Eligibility and Your Account
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter contracts. The information you give us must be accurate and kept current; we may suspend an account where identity or licence details cannot be verified.
Keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account until you tell us it has been compromised — contact us immediately if it is.
03. How an Order Is Formed
A listing on this site is an invitation to buy, not an offer. Your order is an offer to us. The contract forms only when we send you an order confirmation — or, for services, a booking confirmation. This reflects Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2023 on Trading by Modern Technological Means, under which your electronic acceptance and our confirmation are legally binding.
If a price or description is obviously wrong, we may decline the order and refund you in full rather than fulfil it at the erroneous price. We will tell you promptly if that happens.
04. Prices, VAT and Payment
- Currency: All prices are in UAE Dirhams (AED).
- VAT: Prices for supplies made in the UAE include Value Added Tax at 5% where applicable, under Federal Decree-Law No. 8 of 2017. A tax invoice is issued for every order.
- Total price: The full amount payable — goods or services, VAT and delivery — is displayed before you confirm. We add nothing after that point.
- Payment: Taken through our payment provider at the time of order unless we have agreed credit terms in writing. We do not store your full card details.
- Subscriptions: Recurring plans renew automatically at the interval shown until you cancel. We notify you before any price change and you may cancel without penalty.
05. Cancellation and Refunds
You have a 14-day right to cancel most distance purchases without giving a reason, and statutory remedies if goods are defective. The exclusions, timescales and process are set out in full in our Refunds, Returns & Cancellations policy, which forms part of these terms. Nothing here reduces your rights under Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection.
06. Our Role in Partner Transactions
Some goods and services are supplied by independent partners listed on the platform. Where that applies it is disclosed before you pay. In those cases we act as an intermediary and the partner performs the service, but we remain your point of contact: raise any problem with us and we will resolve it with the partner rather than redirecting you.
Partners are separately bound by our Partner Terms, including vetting, insurance and conduct requirements.
07. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for anything unlawful under UAE law, or to submit false information.
- Attempt to access accounts, data or systems you are not authorised to reach.
- Scrape, crawl, resell or bulk-extract our content, pricing or calculator outputs.
- Interfere with the platform's operation or security, or circumvent rate limits.
- Upload malware, or content that infringes someone else's rights.
- Misuse our AI features to generate unlawful, deceptive or harmful material.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches this section, and report serious breaches to the authorities.
08. Intellectual Property
The platform, its content, branding, models and underlying code belong to AFSA FZE or its licensors and are protected by UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 38 of 2021 on Copyright. You get a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use the platform for its intended purpose — nothing more.
You keep ownership of the content you upload, and grant us only the licence we need to host, process and display it in order to provide the service. If you believe material here infringes your rights, contact legal@afsa.ae with details and we will investigate.
09. Guidance Tools and Limits on Liability
Our calculators, assessments, readiness scores and AI-generated outputs are decision-support tools based on the assumptions and inputs given. They are not professional financial, legal, tax, engineering or medical advice, and results are estimates. Take qualified advice before acting on them.
To the fullest extent UAE law allows, our total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including your consumer rights.
10. Suspension and Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where you breach these terms, where we are required to by law, or where continuing would expose us or other users to risk. We will give reasons and, where practical, notice. Termination does not affect orders already confirmed or refunds already due to you.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and the laws of the Emirate of Sharjah. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of the Emirate of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
Before litigating, please contact support@afsa.ae — most matters are resolved within days. Consumers may also refer a complaint free of charge to the UAE Ministry of Economy & Tourism — Consumer Protection Department on 600 522 225, and that route is always open to you.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as the platform develops. The effective date at the top always shows the current version. For material changes we will notify you by email or in your dashboard at least 14 days before they take effect. The terms in force when you placed an order continue to govern that order.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Failing to enforce a term is not a waiver of it.
